Classic AFL Series
Effectively reduce water iron and manganese content, unpleasant odor, color, turbidity and bad taste, and aggressiveness of water. It is a classical iron removal filter that consumes potassium permanganate in its process and ensures efficient iron removal even at high iron content in water. This is guaranteed because the filter uses a special catalytic filter material.
How it works
Iron-manganese removal occurs in a special catalytic filter material that simultaneously precipitates and filters iron and manganese compounds. The filter material requires periodic regeneration with potassium permanganate (KMnO4). During the process, particles trapped in the filter material are flushed into the sewer. The filter function is fully automatic and the filter is equipped with a digital control unit for easy set-up of the filter.
Installation and use
The installation of the filter is feasible for all plumbing installers. An electrical plug and drain connection are required at the filter installation site. The filter requires regular addition of potassium permanganate and periodic maintenance. Under these conditions, the filter has a long service life.
